Meet Emily Felix, LNHA, Senior Living Advisor

From a young age, Emily has had a deep passion for assisting seniors. Through volunteering, Emily noticed that the senior population often falls through the cracks when it comes to public awareness, assistance and funding.

She met many older adults who needed assistance with tasks around their homes and who had no one to help them. Inspired to help, Emily raised thousands of dollars and established programs in her community to provide pharmacy assistance, home heating assistance, and companionship. She won multiple awards for her work volunteering including Massachusetts Unsung Heroine from the Commission on the Status of Women, Massachusetts’ Volunteer of the Year from the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award given by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation.

Through her professional career, Emily served as an intern at the Boston State House for six years. She has also held various positions in senior care, including Senior Admissions Director of a skilled nursing facility. Emily is currently a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and most recently worked as the Executive Director of a skilled nursing facility.

As a Senior Living Advisor with 2Sisters Senior Living Advisors, Emily is able to apply her extensive knowledge and industry experience to help families and seniors navigate their senior care options. With the critical understanding that elder care is always changing, she is constantly working toward growing her knowledge to help her clients. Emily lives in Plymouth County near her family with whom she is very close. In her free time, Emily enjoys working on knitting projects, volunteering, playing volleyball with her friends, and listening to her brother play the saxophone with his local band. She loves to go to yard sales with her mom and travel when she can.
